The Over-Under For Your Goals
What's up you beautiful parents,
Words I like - "People overestimate what they can do in a month but grossly underestimate what they can achieve in a year."
With 2025 coming to a close, it’s easy to get caught up in the "new year, new me" rush. But I don't want you to sell yourself short on what you can actually achieve by this time next year.
Here is how you reach those fitness goals that might feel a bit impossible right now:
Visualize the goal with extreme clarity. Don't just say "get fit"—think about being able to keep up with your kids at the park without getting winded, imagine the feeling of putting on that smaller dress size or your pants hanging loose.
Find your 'Why.' When things get busy (and they will), you need a reason deeper than a number on a scale to keep you moving. Go deep and find the emotion behind why you really want to achieve that goal.
Establish the process. Break it down into the small steps you’ll take every day, like a 20-minute walk or packing a healthy lunch.
Schedule progress checks. Look at how things are going every 8-12 weeks so you can tweak the plan as life changes.
If you want help mapping out your 2026 plan feel free to reach out or book a call with me. No strings attached - https://calendly.com/stffitnesssystems/chat-with-ryan.
I hope you and your family have the best Christmas.
Ryan
