My Egg Frittata Recipe, and a burner of a workout in under 5 minutes?

Christmas is coming fast, the snow is here and it seems like there is never enough time to do the things that need to get done. And that includes exercising and eating in a way that nourishes our bodies. But as we slide into winter and ultimately the Christmas just remember that even taking 15 minutes a day of deliberate, intense exercise can make a world of difference in your life.
On that note, let’s jump into this weeks (technically last week’s) edition of the APB Newsletter.

Something to think about

Statistically most of us are going to reach 60 or 70 years old. What that looks like is up to you and the decisions you make between now and then.

Recipe/Meal prep

My Daily Frittata - This recipe varies from week to week but here’s what I do:

In a bowl mix 2 eggs, 2/3 cup egg whites, ham, green onions, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
Pour into a heated pan and cover for 3-5 minutes.
Uncover and flip. Give it another minute or so and you’re good to go!

32g protein, veggies, delicious.
Give it a try!

Workout

This is the fitness check I do at the start of my 5 week Challenges with clients:

Round 1 - 10 Push ups, 1 Jump squat
Round 2 - 9 Push ups, 2 Jump squats
Round 3 - 8 Push ups, 3 Jump squats
Continue until you get to:
Round 10 - 1 Push up, 10 Jump squats.

Do it for time. Track your time. Most do it under 5 minutes but it’s all good if you can’t. We all start somewhere!
Do it again 5 weeks later to see if you have improved your strength and conditioning.
