What’s up you beautiful parents?
As we approach the new year most people out there will be setting their resolutions, planning on getting in shape and then maybe (or maybe not), ahchieving those goals.

But what happens after the goal is reached? Typically, most people revert back to where they were before. Weight is put back on and the routine that got them the success goes by the wayside.

That’s why habits trump goals anytime of the year.

When you establish sustainable habits the result follows.

For instance - if you use smaller plates at dinner time you will eat less food. Eating less food over time will result in less weight gain and potentially weight loss.

If you establish a habit of setting out your gym clothes the night before you will be more likely to exercise the next day. The more you workout, the stronger you will get.

With my clients I recommend focusing on no more than 1-2 habits at a time but here’s the beautiful thing - Eventually new habits become second nature. Then you focus on new the next habit and your fitness levels up over time.
