A lesson in success from the Navy SEALs
Words I like - “The ones most likely to succeed are almost always the ones who can recover from failure the fastest.”
I was watching someone talk about Navy SEAL candidates and the observations made about the type that were most likely to finish hell week. One thing they noticed was that the trainees most likely to succeed were the ones who could fail at a tasking and move onto the next tasking the quickest. Those who let the failure bother them and affect them mentally were the ones expected to drop out.
As you navigate the crazy life of balancing kids, work and all the other chaos, you will more than likely miss a workout, eat crappy food or have a couple too many drinks from time to time.
The question is - ‘Will you let that keep you down?”
Don’t let one mishap stop your progress. The next day is a new day. The next workout can happen. The next meal can be the right food for your goal.
The faster you get back on track the sooner you reach your goal.
Always in your corner,
Ryan
